  1. Well we have a substantially lower homicide rate (and also many other types of crime) than countries such as the US

    Drug consumption rates generally and also for teens are lower than most of the west of Europe

    plus to answer the above, unemployment is low and the economy is stable and prospering - can you (UK or US I assume) say the same

    I won't say this is all down to decriminalisation of marijuana at all, but this policy is in place for a long time and part of society.  The gravest concern and reason raised for reversing it, is the abuse of foreign tourists visiting the country solely on this basis!

  4. Depends which documentary you watch....

    I've seen documentaries that say that the liberal views in the countries in that part of the world don't really solve the problems.
