The law says

The greater the price, the lesser the demand.

The lower the price, the greater the demand.

Can this be transalated as

The lesser the demand, the greater the price.

The greater the demand, the lower the price.

  1. Think about Christmas time when something is HOT! and everyone wants it...the price is high and there aren't enough.....course they do that on purpose.  Then soon as Christmas is over they have lots and the price is lower because the demand slows down.

  2. no.

the greater the demand, the greater the price. since they have to cut back on the demand, they will make the price higher so that only those who can afford it can buy, so they get more value for their product.

greater supply translates to lower price, not greater demand. :)
