They are illegal.

As for the war on drugs, it's pointless.  The goverment is spending way to money much on trying to fight the drug use in America.  They should spend more money on trying to do something useful, like fighting aids.

Yes there is laws on drugs.

There are laws that govern all drugs, including now some over the counter medications as they are a major ingredient in the manurfacturing of Meth.  The laws that govern prescription narcotics are strict in how much you can have, what you need to recieve them (prescription in your name signed by a licensed MD), etc.  Then of course there are the laws set on illegal narcotics, those I don't need to get into.
