Question

Details: cop phoned that 16year old has a felony warrant, tells to come to station.

Does she have to?

They won't give information.

I need as much information as possible, its for my sister

well i guess one he might of been nice and let her turn herself in so you would not have the police at your house and embarass the family. so get your parents and tell them to bring her to the police station. or you can just wait there and have the police be in front of the house. either way she will be caught. if you think its a prank have your parents call the police dept and have it verified then bring her down there.

I would say no, you have been pranked.  If they knew where she was, they would come and arrest.  You should call the clerk of court to clear it up and file a police report as necessary.

That would not happen ... you folks have been 'punked'.  Tell your sister and whoever else in interested not to worry about it.  Just ignore it.  In fact, tell her to keep the whole thing quiet ... whoever did this will be dying to hear her reaction, so if she keeps quiet it will drive them nuts.  Cheers!!

typically you will get a warrant notice....but i would recommend turning yourself in....if you run it will look worse off in court...

Yep.  Tell her to leave her valubles at home and wear warm clothing.  Jails are cold.
