i have a 3.4 gpa..im a philosophy and biology major. I think my gpa is kinda bad. Not to toot my own horn but im actually smart i just get too confident sometimes and I dont study. I recently took the LSAT and got a perfect score. I have done tons and tons of volunteer work. What are my chances of getting into a really really god law school say Columbia?

 1. One or two of the top schools may balk at your GPA despite your perfect LSAT score, but most schools recognize that philosophy is a difficult major and give you some credit for that (they did for me). You shouldn't have a problem with most of the top law schools. Congrats.

 2. You should have no worries. Law Schools usually look for candidates with your criteria. Plus you passed the LSAT, your on the ball just need to get it rolling**slang**

 3. i say you got a pretty good chance....i want to go to law school too....but i don't know if i want to be faced with all that debt......
