Lawheed, canada?

I'm doing research to find my ancestors, and my aunt told me they are from "Lawheed" in Canada. She's not sure of the spelling and I can't find it on the internet. Any ideas?

The correct spelling is Lougheed

There's a village in Alberta named after premier james Alexander Lougheed and also an Island i Nunavut.
