  1. When you tilted the lawnmower the oil went past your valves and into your cylinder.

  2. Did you add oil to replace the oil that drain out? You could be burning the engine, due to not enough oil.

  3. don't use car oil.

  4. the oil leaked into the cylinder,, not a problem. make sure oil level is at right height, usually even with fill cap, if overfull it will smoke too!

go ahead and let it run , the smoke should stop after a little while. like ten minutes

  5. It's a bit hard to understand what you wrote. "i put to the side(all nigth) and the oil came out", sounds like you meant to say that you put it on it's side and left it that way over night.

Well, it's not meant to be left on it's side. You also said some oil came out, and got all over the engine.

Well, as the engine heats up the oil will burn off. It will smoke and stink till it's all burned off.

Make sure there is enough oil in it - you'll probably have to add a bit more. Look in the manual or ask in a lawnmower shop how to check the oil in your particular model.

    Good luck.

  6. Mine did the same thing, and actually i had put too much oil.  Check the oil level and make sure its at the proper level.
