  1. Make sure fuel line is clear

Make should petcock out of gas tank

    Add carborator cleaner to gas

    If still wont run

Take apart carb, clean with canned carb cleaner- GUMOUT

Blow carb out with air nozzle hooked to compressor

    Reassembl carb

    start

After running , cover carrelase  with palm intake until it is about to c**p out , repeat

  2. does it die out while running just over pavement?

    if not

the problem is you are trying to cut too much grass at once

raise the height of cut and mow the grass high then  lower the height and re-mow the same area a different direction keep mowing and lowering until you get it all mowed

a mower that doesn't have enough power will bog down when there is too much grass to cut and the clippings get in the way of the blade and slow it down

keep in mind as you do this the grass will be very  very unhappy

  3. Sounds like a partial fuel blockage.  Check the tank, settling bowl, fuel filter if there is one, kinked fuel hose, damaged or stuck float or float valve.
