Lawry's The Prime Rib (Beverly Hills) or House of Prime Rib (SF)?

Question

For those of you who've tried both restaurants, I want to know which one you preferred. I tried the House of Prime Rib in SF and thought it was pretty good. However, someone told me they just took the idea from Lawry's. I live in LA and have been meaning to go to Lawry's but just haven't had the chance. Is it basically the same as House of Prime Rib (SF) or can I expect something different? better? Thanks!!

I agree. Even though I live in the Bay Area, I have to admit that Lawry's is THE place for prime rib. I happen to think Lawry's is as much an experience as it is a restaurant. Definitely meant to be shared- friends, significant other, family. Do enjoy for me!

Lawry's is  the BOMB. I've never ever seen anything like it.  Im not a prime rib fan & it was amazing there.  Oh & the spinning salad was awesome & the creamed corn was to die for!!
