Laws for parking personal truck and trailer on residential street?

I have a 99 Dodge 3/4 ton with a 2 axle trailer to haul a small AG tractor. what are the laws on parking the truck and trailer in front of my house in the street by the curb. because we dont have garages in the front we have the back allyway garages.

  1. It will depend on where you live but you can just call your local police department and ask but if you live where you have a (HOA) home owners association, 99 percent of the time it is not allowed due to safety issues.....been there and done that..


  2. All towns and cities have by-laws restricting on street parking overnight.  Check with your city/town regarding the by-laws where you live.  Usually the only time they make allowances is when you are, or have just had, driveway work done... or when your vehicle has broken down.

  3. Where I live I can park anything on the street in front of my house. The neighbors might not like it if I parked what you're talking about, but here it is legal.

    When you ask questions about something local you should maybe say just where you're talking about?
