Question:

Laws regarding non-citizens?

Ok, lets just say an American citizen travels to a country/territory outside the US, are they subject to the laws of that country, and if a law of that country that may not be a law in the US is broken, would that person be subject to punishment by the "foreign" nation??

And I'm not sure what this is called or what I would search for on say google if I was looking for more information on this topic!

  1. You are subjected to the laws of that country and you can and will be punished by that country.
