Laws that don't apply when you live in a very secluded area?

What are some basic examples of laws that would normally apply to most cities that don't apply to those outside of city limits? Say, for example, that you own a large piece of property in the middle of a forest of the cascade mountain range. You're over 20 miles away from any kind of civilization. It's just you and your 100 acre property.

Would you be allowed to shoot off a gun on your private property for target practice? Would you be able to drive unlicensed on your private property? Would you be able to own animals that some cities may restrict, such as horses, llamas, etc?

Another question: If you're located in such a rural area, how would you get mail delivered to your residence, assuming you're that far away from any kind of residency? How would any kind of emergency vehicle arrive to your house in the event of a fire, sudden illness, or burglary?
