I personally cannot stand Nancy Grace. I think she's a rude, vindictive, attention w***e. However, I did not believe Grace is guilty in this case though.

CNN and Grace argued the wrongful death lawsuit brought by Melinda Duckett's family would "severely chill" journalists' coverage of missing-persons cases. But U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges on Thursday denied their motion to dismiss the lawsuit.

Duckett, 21, was on Grace's show after her son Trenton went missing from her apartment in August 2006. Grace grilled the woman, accusing her of hiding something because Duckett did not take a lie-detector test and answered vaguely regarding her whereabouts.

How many of you agree how many of you disagree, why and / or why not.

  1. Guilty

  2. So many people dont even know the facts of this case.
There is no evidence that Melinda or anyone else killed Trenton. He is missing and still being looked for.
Melinda and Josh Duckett were involved in a very hostile separation with alefations of abuse.
Melinda may simply have left Trenton with someone she knew.
She may have felt so strongly about protecting Trenton that she would die to protect him.
Is Nancy Grace guilty?  Of course she is.
Shes guilty of verbal abuse, threatening, human rights abuses, abuse of office, abuse of trust, abuse of copyrights, and a host of other crimes.
Remember, she was an Asistant Prosecutor and as such, had access to officials and information that she should not have had after leaving office. Using those contacts and that information to benefit her ratings was and is dead wrong.  As an member of the bar, she should be called before a review board and be disbarred, fined, or jailed for misconduct alone.
She absolutely contributed to Melinda Ducketts death. There is no question about that.  She may not be convicted on the charges and evidence presented in this particular case, as they stand, but she should be convicted of a number of other equally serious crimes.
