Question:

Lawyer left me high and dry?

Two years ago, my attorney promised he would help me with a divorce issue. A year and a half later, no action has been taken with regards to child support. What recourses can I take to get the ball rolling? Is there an attorney who would be willing to sue another attorney (pro bono)?

  1. You ned to take it up with your state's Attorney General.  That is the person who would handle this type of situation.  But, if he "promised", but you did not get it in writing that he agreed to do it "pro bono", then you don't have a case. People break promises all the time and it is not a crime.
