Laytown Coast likely to win Irish Oaks (Heat 14)
Laytown Coast is likely to demonstrate an outstanding performance in a bid to claim the ace title of the Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 1 Heat 14 that will go down at Shelbourne Park on Saturday, May 26. The Reynolds-trained black b***h will break from
the black box when the break call comes at 21:45 (GMT).
Since the very beginning of her career, the two-year-old novice runner has been winning with regular intervals. She will repeat her usual thumping performance in this contest as well.
In the Open Race, the brilliant b***h is geared up to face Olympic Stunner, Paradise Siesta, Graigues Riva, Tyrur Monica and Pride And Glory. All these hounds will show their guts on the flat track of 525 metres.
After breaking her maiden on September 13, 2011, Laytown Coast elegantly won a race each in November and December.
She extended her winning momentum to 2012 as well and accomplished a magnificent victory on January 28. Thus, the two-year-old novice runner is awash with confidence at the moment. If she manages to run to her best, she will definitely have up to 90 percent
chances to thrive.
However, the daughter of Head Bound out of Generosity will face some resistance from Tyrur Monica and Paradise Siesta.
Tyrur Monica excellently won two races for two times each in October and November 2011. She moved one to get two consecutive runner-up ranks in December. However, the Fahy-trained white and black b***h has been winless since the beginning of the calendar
year.
The veteran b***h is likely to unleash a decent run tonight, eying on the second top position.
On the other hand, Paradise Siesta nicely grabbed two back-to-back runner-up positions during March 2012. The Meade-trained white and black b***h went on to finish 2nd in a race each on April 27 and May 16. She will too struggle for the second
position.
Come what may, success seems to be leaning towards Laytown Coast. However, there will be fierce battle in the race. Let us go for the fantastic action. Good luck to all the contestants.
