Lazio president Claudio Lotito overjoyed with Klose-Cisse strike force: Serie A news
Lazio President, Claudio Lotito, is confident that new strikers, Djibril Cisse and Miroslav Klose, will help the club to reach the top level again.
Edy Reja’s men finished fifth in the 2010/11 Serie A table after remaining in the top four for majority of the campaign. The Italian outfit struggled to find the back of the net on consistent basis and were left to rue, as they
missed out on UEFA Champions League football for the next season.
The Biancazzurri have made several reinforcements to their squad and have signed several new players. Former Bayern Munich star, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miroslav-Klose-c26049 joined the club on a free transfer few months back, while Cisse completed his move
from Greek outfit, Panathinaikos, recently.
Lotito believes that the duo will add experience to the squad and will prove to be handy for the club. The President wants to end the almost 22 year Scudetto drought and believes the new signings have enough quality to help the
club in achieving their target.
Talking to the reporters Lotito said, "They can help bring Lazio back to the top level in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and Europe. With Cisse and Klose in attack, Lazio will go far. We have signed Klose and Cisse, hoping they will be decisive in terms
of physique, quality, character and experience.”

"I appreciate Klose’s moral qualities, as he is a very professional figure who will give this team a step up in quality.  I have to thank Cisse, as he had other offers, but firmly wanted to join http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775. He wishes to prove his worth in Serie A after recovering
from two very serious injuries. He has great strength of character."
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 striker is coming from a fantastic two year stint with Panathinaikos, where he scored 47 goals in 60 appearances in all competitions. On the other hand, the 2006 World Cup Golden shoe winner, Klose, had a far
from impressive campaign with Bayern and managed to score only 5 goals in 26 appearances in the last season.
Lotito is hoping that the signings will be exactly what Lazio were hoping for.
