Lazio striker Mauro Zarate in talks with Arsenal: Serie A news

Zarate has been told by the bosses at Lazio to find a new club for himself, as he is not in their plans for the upcoming season. The Argentinean is linked with a move to host of clubs including Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur
but latest reports suggest that Arsene Wenger wants to sign him.

at the club. He managed to score 4 goals in 14 appearances for the club.
The former Velez Sarfield star was really impressive in his first two seasons at the Stadio Olimpico Rome but had a less than convincing 2010/11 campaign. The striker failed to make his mark at the club and managed to score only
9 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions last season.
