Lazy eye, contacts to make it look less noticable?

I have a lazy eye and I heard from a friend that there was a certain type of contact lenses which can make lazy eye less noticeable. Anyone have more info on this?

  1. not that i know of... it's a muscle problem behind the eye.


  2. I know of a way to correct a lazy eye.  You just wear an eye patch over the other eye and that will strengthen the lazy eye.  

  3. yes there is a contact out there for people like us who have a "lazy eye" or a severe astigmatism.. they are called toric lenses, and they do work very well!

    i've had over 13 different surgeries on my eyes, currently i have only the use of one of my eyes, though i can see through both, i just cant control my left eye. i honestly thought this to be a problem when wearing contacts, but my eye doctor told me to try the first pair free, and if i like them, order more..so i did. they fit well, and most people dont notice the problem with my eyes, or dont comment on it. just talk to your eye doctor, and good luck..hope this helped abit.
