Lcd tv cleaning please help

i recently bought a 42 inch lcd tv, my little boy likes to put his mucky hands all over it!! anybody know a good way of cleaning the screen without damaging it? please help

Personally, I use sun glass cleaning cloth and I moist it with a little water. Squeeze the cloth to make sure that there is no water. Then clean away.

I also think that you should raise the TV so that your boy does not touch it.

Use a clean, soft microfiber cloth.  Spritz a bit of water on it.  Not so much that the cloth is actually wet, but just enough to coat the surface.  You do NOT want water dripping off the cloth or running down the screen, working its way up behind the LCD.

And do what we do, put up a gate in front of the expensive electronics.  That way, little hands can't get near them.

I have a 42" lcd and i bought some screen wipes which are made especially 4 lcd tv's. I have been told not 2 just any wipes as it can damage the screen. U can used a slightly damp cloth.

What do u used 2 clean your computer or laptop screen?? As that will b ok 2 used on yr tv. I use the same on both of mine.

Your tv should have come with a special cleaning cloth, for the very purpose of cleaning your screen. Check inside the user manual bag. You could have missed it if your man is like mine, and never reads the manual, the intructions never to be touched. I happened upon mine when throwing away the mess made in the excitement of installing the shiny new 'gadget'. If you don't find one, buy a special cloth made for cleaning delicate surfaces from your supermarket. Or you could use a dry (or slightly damp), very soft, non-scratch cloth like wool or pure cotton.

I use a glass cleaning wipe, the sort you get at the opticians. This will get all the marks off without leaving any streaks. Hope this helps!
