Le Baule France?

My friend is planning a trip to Franc in September of this year...she need to know a little about La baule..all I know is that it's on the coast but I'm not sure about accomation..so any infomation would be a great help to her...Many Thanks

la baule is a very little city full of old people and parisians, not really a great interest...

I rather like la Baule altho', in a way, it could be compared to Bournemouth as there does tend to be a number of "wrinklies" around, especially early and late season. The beach is very good, about 4 miles long; there are plenty of decent places to stay and a casino but, to be honest, that's about it. It I wanted to visit south Brittany again I would base myself nearer Vannes on the Golfe de Morbihan which has lots of pretty sea-side villages, boat trips to the islands and is handy for visiting the pre-historic remains at Carnac  and  places like Auray and my favourite inland Breton town, Josselin.
