Le Meridien at Cancun??

I just went to Cancun and stayed at Le Meridien...I had read so many wonderful reviews about this 41/2 star hotel that I was just soooo excited to get there!! When I got there total dissapointment :0...It was sOo00 boring, rooms shaped awkwardly nothing made this hotel truly stand out for me....I even tried switching hotels the same day I arrived...To top it off when i get home i was watchingb the travel channel and they were showing mexicos top ten best hotels...and LeMeridien comes in 2nd???? I wonder what was the judging criteria ??? Anybody???

Mmhh Le Meridien Hotel is nice...but dont think is the 2nd best hotel in Mexico.....maybe caus I just prefer to stay in other kind of hotels...

The only one advantage of Le Meridien Cancun, is that every room have lagoon or ocean view (or both)....I really dont see any other charachteristic that makes this hotel so great for the travel channel staff..........................Yes it looks pretty nice from the outside and certainly the interiors look like they pretend to be classy but ....hmm dont know......In cancun I prefer "Me by Melia Hotel".

And certainly there are better hotels in mexico than Le Meridien........Ventanas al Paraiso and Esperanza in Cabo, La Casa que Canta in Zihuatanejo, Punta Maroma, the Fairmont and the Tides at the Riviera Maya are good examples of that.....

Maybe the Rosewood Hotels Directors (Owners of Le Meridien) gave to the Travel Channel Staff a 30 day vacation at Le Meridiens Presidential Suite  (It was for free of course).

if i go to the meridien is because there are the soccer team of cancun lol :D
