Hello, can you help me?

I don't understand something about the pronom relatif stuff. For QUI, when do you use it? And when do you use que? How can you tell when to use qui or que? ??? Thanks for helping! And don't bother answering this if you don't know, because i don't want any false information

    Don't take me as granted but :

    Qui = who or whom

    Que = that

    the man who talks - l'homme qui parle

    The apple that I eat - la pomme que je manje

    That in french can also be cette, when saying for insteance : that car (cette auto).
