Question:

LeBrick James or Kobrick Bryant??

-Kobe Bryant is 1-15 behind the ARC in olympic play, are you kidding me!! Ben Wallace can shoot better than that!

-I still don't believe Kobe is the best, and his play from the Finals or Olympics didn't help change my mind. It should be illegal for Kobe Jockers to use the term "LeBrick" after Kobe built a brick mansion in the Olympics.

Is Kobe Bryant really the best offensive player in the world?

Has any body's opinion changed about Kobe being the best, considering his recent play?

  1. i've neva said dat kobe wuz da best, top five, but not da best. plus who cares, dey still won. everyone goes into slumps ray allen did it, everyone does it, he'll come out of it sooner or later.

  2. I agree, everyone talks all this stuff about Kobe is the best blahh blahh blahh but the only thing they have to back it up is 81 points and stuff like that. I mean they call Lebron James Lebronze and Lebrick but once again they have nothing to back it up. He is amazing and in my opinion has had the most impact in the Olympic games........he's played incredibly unlike someone.........KOBE!! Its ridiculous

  3. Kobe who?

Haa.. he's not the best offesive player, not the best of anything.  I've always thought he was an overhyped player. Yes, he's had hella good games buuuut so has any other rookie..

    sorry.

  4. Kobe.

  5. Who else is?

  6. Wow you're blind man. What about Lebrick's perfomrance in the 2007 Finals against the Spurs? That wasn't any better than Kobe's Finals performance this year and when did Lebron had the courage to shoot jumpshots this olympics? All I see is his coast 2 coast ballhog manuevers. When Kobe has a good game I'll be looking for u in this board and see if your *** got twisted. Lastly, if you haven't seen Kobe's brilliance through the years, you must have been living in a shithole just like other Lebron lovers and Kobe haters.

  7. first of all kobe is starting to ahave a more promising career then jordan everyone had a bad game ok

did you forget jordans 0-13 behind the arc in the olympics and the commmentators even said he just got used to taking shots off the pass he didnt create his own shot on the lakers hes much better because thers not much people to pass it to him so he creats of the dribble

  8. Trade Kobe Bryant to Lebron James.

Let's see if Kobe could endure.

  9. y dont u mentioned his 10 steals in the first game. LOL.

  10. Kobe plays on a team where he gets the ball almost all the time -- similar to LeBron James, but LeBron is a much better TEAM player. Last season his game improved on the court, but when you put him on a team with serious talent, such as Team USA, you have yourself an overly-possessive ball handler. He doesn't know when he's taking a good or bad shot sometimes, because he's used to the mentality that everyone else on his team is nowhere near his level. In the Olympics, his team is a HOARD of talent. Take LeBron and D-Wade for instance, and see how they thrive when they dish the ball. Having a level-headed mentality when you're on a team with equally talented players is a key, and it appears that Kobe has fallen into that Laker state of mind.

Ok, so to answer your question I used to think Kobe was an offensive monster -- the best. But now I'm beginning to think his success is just talent-oriented, not so much based on his understanding of the game. Seeing LeBron play much better team basketball makes me reminisce about 2 years ago when the Cavs made it to the finals and people took shots at Kobe for being so selfish. I believe that Kobe's stock may have fallen in terms of a welcome addition to any club -- unless they have absolutely nobody else on their team (maybe the Sonics? But I think Kevin Durant is developing Kobe's style of play). LeBron is above Kobe right now offensively, and I think even Dwyane Wade can be put into that category, mainly because of their willingness to pass.

  11. Well, the three point line is located at a different spot. And i think that Kobe's mind frame is being kinda altered when hes releasing from 3 point territory.  And then when he realizes that he must alter his shot, thats when he overthinks his shot.  He should just keep pounding the ball on the inside because he was 4-5 on shots inside the three point line.

And no, my opinion on Kobe havent changed. I think hes still the best player in teh NBA rite now.

  12. your a bum

  13. my opinion hasnt changed on Kobe

since i never thought he was the best

  14. Kobe will always be the best in my book who cares about Lebren A.K.A the Shrek 4th in Nba.

  15. LeBron James is way better than kobe, kobe is to selfish. Kobe isnt a team player, Lebron is.

  16. Kobe just sucks

  17. Kobe was off and he was messing around. Pissed me off really bad. I don't care if the team is winning by 10 points, stop doing that and attack the freaking rim!

Well, Kobe didn't do so bad in the finals. He did better than LeBron did against the Celtics. But, watching him in the regular season and most parts of the playoffs, he gave an atmosphere of invincibility. It felt like no one can defend him. It was impossible to.

As for LeBron. Yes, I lost so much respect for him watching him play in the olympics. I liked watching him play for Cavs, but in the olympics, I found out that he was a true ball hogger. I thought he was only hogging the ball because the cavs needed him to. He gets away with 3-4 fouls in every game.

Carmelo is doing bad! He started out really good [He was the best scorer in the team] in the exhibition games.  He was always in the right place and Kobe would pass it to him. Now, what's happening?

I like how Wade is playing. In every game he gets away with at least 1 foul, but he attacks the rim really nicely. Although, I admit I prefer him having the ball because I'm a fan, but he kinda needs to pass at times.

  18. I never thought he was the best.  I always thought he was top 3.  But this has started to make me lose some respect for his game.  Let's see if this is just two bad games or if he is going to have a bad Olympics.

IcyBoii what are you talking about? Kobe Byrant had two steals each game not 10 in one.

All you who are talking about Ball-Hogging, my view of ball hogging is someone who shoots a bad percentage or worse than his team.  Or gets no assists.  That doesn't sound at all like Lebron
