LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh conclude joint workout sessions – NBA Update
At a time, when the team managers and officials cannot keep any sort of contact with their players as a result of the ongoing NBA lockout, Miami Heat’s superstar trio is trying its best to stay together and work on their strategies
for the next season, whenever it happens.
On Tuesday, Miami’s big three LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh finished a week of training at the Nike’s Beaverton campus. Heat’s veteran power forward Udonis Haslem also teamed up with the superstars in the work out sessions.
All of the four players are expected to participate in the upcoming charity games which will begin with an event hosted by James on 1st December at the University of Akron.
During the work out sessions with his teammates, LeBron James talked about his future role in Miami Heat for the next season. James indicated that people look at his individual legacy however; the former Cleveland Cavaliers superstar
is more concerned about building the legacy of his new team.
"I've got years left in my career to build, I guess, my individual legacy, if that's what they want to call it. But, right now, it's all about building my team's legacy. How can we continue to get better and to approach the game
in the right way during a championship playoff. One year in, we gave ourselves a chance and we're looking forward to the next one. For me, I just want to give myself the best opportunity to win games." James said.
After losing to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals, Miami’s big three, especially James was taken to task by fans all over NBA. LeBron had decided to move to Miami Heat last summer and his sudden announcement on a much publicized
TV show scorned many fans in NBA, especially at Cleveland.
James described the move as an attempt to get a better shot at the NBA championship, which was appearing elusive at Cleveland. However, went about the whole business in a rather arrogant way which was not taken well by the NBA
fans.
He was booed in nearly every arena throughout the last regular season, but along with Wade and Bosh, he overcame every hurdle and reached the NBA finals against the Dallas Mavericks. He choked at the final hurdle though and his
failure was literally celebrated by majority of the fans, especially in Cleveland.
However, he still hold the place and its people dear and when asked if there is a possibility of him going back to Cleveland, James replied,
"It's not impossible. I still love the city. I have so many great memories of all those fans, so it's not impossible."
