LeBron James, Raymond Felton, Paul Pierce: NBA’s noticeable performances from 3rd April – Part 1
As the season heads into the playoffs, the stress levels too seem to sore as players guide their teams towards the end of the season. Here is an overview of some of the most noticeable performances from the games that took place on 3rd April:
Hill’s off the bench 29
George Hill sparked the Spurs with 29 points, as Tim Duncan’s San Antonio squad firmly grasped the game to break their six-game losing streak. The player scored game high 29 points from off the bench while finishing on a 10 for 16 shooting from the field.
He also pinned 4 of 7 three-pointers to go along with 5 for 5 free throws. Hill also dished out four assists in his 25 plus minutes of action.
Bonner’s off the bench double-double
Matt Bonner also contributed a double-double from off the bench. The player scored 16 points to go along with 11 rebounds to make it possible for the Spurs to clinch a 17 point victory over the Phoenix Suns.
Phoenix Suns as a team
In a fairly distributed game, the Suns saw seven of its players score in double figures. Aaron Brooks’ 14 points dominated, along with six assists whereas, Jared Dudley scooped out a double-double. The player contributed 12 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and
dished out three assists in 26 plus minutes of action.
Gallinari- Denver Nuggets
Danilo Gallinari added life to the game when he posted 22 points in 40 plus minutes finishing on a 7 for 13 shooting, including his 3 for 6 shooting from the long range.
Felton’s routing of the Lakers
Raymond Felton knew deep within that in order to beat the Lakers he had to come up with something big. The player did not score a single point in the first half, letting go of all the six shots coming his way but reconciled after the break. He went 6 for
9 in the second half to score 16 points in that round. The ace also grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists, pinning 3 of 4 three-pointers in the win.
Gasol’s double-dobule
Even though they lose the match, but Pau Gasol added the necessary element that the Lakers were missing. The player scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in over 31minutes.
Celtics Big Three
According to Detroit’s coach, John Kuester, the Celtics are a veteran team who invariably understand how to finish the game. The Big Three gave Boston the advantage they were looking for. Kevin Garnett led Boston’s roster with 23 points to go along with
eight rebounds in 28 plus minutes. Paul Pierce added 22 points, plus six rebounds going 3 for 5 from the long range. Similarly, Ray Allen too was on fire, the player contributed 13 points along with five assists in 31 plus minutes.
