Anthony’s second straight 39-10
Carmelo Anthony carried on for the Knicks with the same surge for the second straight game. The All-Star forward posted game high 39 points and pulled out 10 boards going 3 for 4 from the three-point line. The player has now averaged a commendable 32.6 points
in the previous five games.
Conley and Randolph making it for the Grizzlies
Mike Conley and Zach Randolph both had an excellent game for the Memphis Grizzlies. Randolph also added career high 13 rebounds along with dishing out six assists in 32 minutes of action whereas, Conley provided seven assists to help his teammates accomplish
their shots.
Chicago’s Big Three
The Big Three of Chicago Bulls were way too hot in the win over Minnesota Timberwolves. Derrick Rose clinched his third double-double in the last five games, pouring in 23 points, and dishing out 10 assists. Carlos Boozer hit 10 of 18 from the field to collect
24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in over 28 minutes. Luol Deng also played a commendable game to finish with 13 points, five rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes.
Miller and Aldridge in Blazers’ defeat
Two players who shined despite Portland’s loss were Andre Miller and LaMarcus Aldridge. Aldridge had a spectacular night, posting a game high 24 points and 15 rebounds, whereas Miller scored 19 points off the bench.
Thornton’s sensibility
Marcus Thornton played a sensible game in Sacramento Kings loss. The player scooped out 27 points, 16 of which were scored before the break. The Kings guard notched five three-pointers in the loss and finished on 9 of 19 shooting from the field.
Hilario for Nuggets
Nene Hilario played very well for the Denver Nuggets. The player kept moving ahead with a surge and finished with 12 points and 15 rebounds in the win.
Carter’s off the bench game
After being shifted to the bench three games ago, Vince Carter continued playing remarkably. The player who was replaced by Jared Dudley scored a game high 28 points from off the bench in the loss. He had a good shooting hand and finished on 11 for 19 shooting
from the field also hitting two 3-pointers in over 29 minutes.
Harden and Durant- OKC
Oklahoma’s James Harden and Kevin Durant both knocked off the Suns by scoring 22 points in the win. Both players shot three 3-pointers in the win.
Nowitzki’s tenacious 24
Dirk Nowitzki led all the Mavs with 24 points and grabbed six rebounds after posting 9 of 19 shots in almost 37 minutes.
Barea- Dallas Mavericks
J.J. Barea had an outstanding backup game for the Mavericks. The player posted 22 points to break the ice that was limiting him from securing 20 points, since he last notched them on February 9th 2011.
Griffin’s whopping game in Clippers defeat
Blake Griffin was one slam dunker despite Clippers’ loss. The young player pinned 25 points, and grabbed game high 17 rebounds in over 36 minutes. He also clinched 5 of 8 free throws on his way to make his 57th double-double of this season.
