LeBron James Would Appear Nice, says Venus Williams
The American Tennis sensation Venus Williams commented that LeBron James would appear nice in a Miami Heat dress coat.
Williams expressed her views at the National Press Club on Wednesday while advertising about her upcoming book and James was one of the matters she talked about during her interview.
The Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., occupant, backed Miami as a fresh home for James, the award of this season’s NBA free-agent class.
''I belong to Florida, so Miami definitely is the most suited place,'' Williams said. I in fact have a slide show in position, if he wishes to see, on why. But I hope that he'll make the correct decision''.
Covered in a beautiful teal blouse along with lily white skirt for the luncheon, Williams turned to a peach coloured EleVen shirt, part of her personal clothing brand, along with white coloured shorts by early evening, when she was welcomed as a fresh member of the Washington Kastles of the World Team Tennis.
When she entered the court for a women's doubles game contested in extreme hot temperatures around 100 degrees, Williams was seen dressed in a Kastles dress court that is a blue coloured tennis skirt along with a red T-shirt. Williams along with her partner Rennae Stubbs knocked down Sarah Borwell andMartina Hingis of the New York Buzz, 5-3.
Later in the day, when the atmosphere cooled to a muggy ninety two degrees, she defeated Martina Hingis 5-4 in a singles clash, gaining a nine-point tiebreaker. On one serve during their clash, Williams wrecked Hingis' racket.
Williams commented in her pre match news conference that she is still obsessive about her professional life, in spite of the fact that she failed to surpass the quarterfinals in her recent grass court Grand Slam Tournament.
''I have everything in my life and I enjoy every bit of it,'' said Williams, who just passed 30 in June. I enjoy my game and I enjoy my activities off the court as well. I want to progress in all of them.''
During the luncheon, the mediator of the interview read a statement questioning what suggestion Williams would give to the fortified Tiger Woods. She warned against too much public involvement of Woods' personal issues.
''I belief as a nation and as a world, we're too much critical on exactly the things that we might be doing as well,'' she added. ''I seriously feel that we need to stop criticizing the other person and concentrate on our own affairs. He is a living legend and he has provided some wonderful exhibit of tennis on a number of occasions''.
Earlier, when questioned how Williams would cope versus women's tennis legend Billie Jean King, the five time Wimbledon winner laughed and took her normal self-confident posture.
While advertising about her upcoming book, Williams talked about self belief the most, while she also discussed about some other things including discipline, focus, drive as well as the lessons that can be learned in both failure as well as success.
When questioned if she herself had learned anything from her low level performance in the grass court Grand Slam Tournament where she was knocked down in the quarter final match by an un-seeded player Tsvetana Pironkova from Bulgarian, Venus Williams laughed sheepishly.
''God, no,'' she replied.
