However, the two time reigning MVP saved his best of the season for the team that taunted him the most upon his arrival to the Sunshine State, the Orlando Magic. He unleashed his fury from the opening buzzer. James had a career-best first 11 shots from the
field, which formed the part of a season high 51 point blitz that torched the Magic.
The 51-point onslaught marked the ninth occasion that James has scored at least 50 points in a game. In that contest, James also rolled over some franchise landmarks, becoming the highest scorer in an away game and also notching up 23 points in the first
quarter, the highest for any player in Miami. To compliment his offensive brilliance, James pulled off a team-high 11 rebounds, a game-high eight assists, one steal and one block in a team-high 42:39 minutes of action.
After going berserk against the Magic, James turned on the heat against the Charlotte Bobcats the very next night. The maverick sharp-shooter pounded 19 points to go along with nine assists and eight rebounds in a 109-97 victory over the Bobcats.
