Basketball superstar LeBron James, who is one of the shareholders at Liverpool, believes that the Reds are currently going through a transition period and will require time to consolidate their position in the Premier League.
The Merseyside club underwent a catastrophic 2011/12 campaign which saw them compile a meagre points-tally of 52, their lowest since 1954. They failed to launch any substantial challenge whatsoever for a top-four place, and ended the season in the eighth
spot in the final league standings.

Following the culmination of the season, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 fired Kenny Dalglish, and brought former Swansea City boss, Brendan Rodgers in as his replacement.
Being a staunch follower of football, James assessed that the Reds are going through a re-building process, and indicated that he cannot say anything for sure, over what to expect from them this coming term.
“It's a difficult time for the club right now. Liverpool are a team in a period of transition at the moment, so I don't know what they can achieve.”

Britain.
Even though the 27-year old is renowned for his heroics on the Basketball court, James let out his affinity for football and revealed that he fell in ‘love’ with the game after watching it.
The Miami Heat star also drew comparisons between the two games, pointing out that players aim to cut and move the ball in both the sports, but felt that football involved more team work.
“They're passing with their feet while we pass with our hands, to try and set someone up for a goal… I definitely love the sport.”
He further said that he was delighted that the Olympics were being hosted by Britain, and his team will give it their all to claim the gold medal.
