LeBron James and Dwyane Wade erupt for 70 points  and 27 rebounds to help the Miami Heat record a 101-93 win against the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 and tie up the series at 2-all
On Sunday night at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Miami Heat managed to put their woes in this Eastern Conference Semi Finals behind them by recording a come from behind 101-93 win against the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 to even up the series.
For most of the night, it was the Pacers versus LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, who were just unstoppable on the night. Both of them combined for 70 of the total points for Heat leading their team past the hurdle of earning back home court advantage in the series.
James finished the game with massive tally of 40 points to go along with 18 rebounds and 9 assists. Wade followed him up with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and despite a slow start in the first half, he managed to score 22 of his points in the second half. Udonis Haslem also came to the party on the night and racked up 14 points on a 5 off 6 shooting to cap off the late charge from Miami.
Danny Granger led with 20 points for the Pacers. Darren Collison came off the bench to score 16 points and Paul George recorded 13 points in the game.
Indiana got off to a good start in this one as they held a 9-0 lead early. They went on to stay ahead for the rest of the first quarter and by the end of it, held the lead at 25-18.
Inside the opening first five minutes of the second quarter, Miami rallied their way back into the game, courtesy of a 8-0 spurt to take a 1 point lead, 30-29,  at the 7:39 mark. Indiana responded back with a deuce from Leandro Barbosa and after some end to end action, the Pacers sprinted to a 9-0 burst to take their lead into double figures. With 2:39 to go in the half, the Pacers were leading by 46-36.
The next 13 minutes of the ball game saw the duo of James and Wade take over completely. They put together 48 of the next Miami 50 points till the 1:30 mark of third period with Haslem getting the remaining two points from the free throw line.
In that span came a 17-2 Heat run which turned the Pacers 10 point lead at the 8:29 mark in the third quarter into a 5 point advantage for Miami and by the end of the period, Heat held the upper hand on the score 76-70.
Pacer tried their best to make a comeback at the start of the final quarter by putting together a 6-2 burst; however Wade and James were just relentless from the other side. They answered back to everything the Pacers team had to offer. Haslem contributed 8 points in the frame as well to help the Heat hold on to this one by 8 point in the end.
