This is a ridiculous trade, in terms of, it ain't happenin'.  

Sure, the Lakers would look nearly invincible with this trade, but Cleveland gets screwed.  Odom is a good player yes, but not good enough to carry a team like James can.

Danny Ferry's entire existence as far as the state of Ohio is concerned is to keep LeBron in Cleveland.  That might not be possible by 2010, but trading him away now for a decent third man is asking just asking to be fired (or worse).
