Leafs trade McCabe + draft pick to Panthers for Van Ryn, is this a good deal?

Pretty sh*tty that the Leafs have to add a draft pick to get rid of him for a mediocre defense man, if you ask me.

if somone was willing to take McCabe...then go for what you can get.. he was useless last year...

I agree when you consider the year he had about thee years ago. I believe that was Crosby's rookie year. McCabe and Kaberle were killing teams on the PP. What happened to him?

well, considering they wanted to get rid of McCabe .. .it does sound pretty fair, Van Ryn is a good player.
