Truthfully, I think that the LEAFS are going to be CREAMED all year long. Its obvious what the GM is doing. He is cleaning the slate for a new GM to take over Next Year! Wouldnt BURKE just love to come to a team that is going to draft Tavares and has lots of Cap Room for him to build a team around him? I think thats what we are going to see. CLEAN THE SLATE for the New GM next year to make the job more appealing and perhaps have a guy named Tavares!

Haha, oh what a good way to start the season.  Me, as a Wings fan, and my best friend, a Leafs fan, at odds already.

It's a given.  Wings will take it, unless Toska-lol is determined not to let anything pass....but again, it's still a given.  I say 4-1 Wings.

The Wings have no choice but to crush them, and the Leafs can't help but be crushed.  Who do you guys got in your front office?  You'd think a Canadian original six team could put together some good managerial staff and have some deep-rooted scouts in the old country.  Even Chicago is showing signs of improvement.

You're only saying that because the Wings, their AHL farm team, every other NHL and AHL team, several ECHL teams and a few really good beer league teams have more talent than the Leafs.  Take them away, and the Leafs don't look that bad.

Right now, we're (I'm from T-O) looking at Matt Stajan as a second line center.  A pylon is a jersey would be just as good. I remember the woeful teams of the 1980's, and next year's team is looking frighteningly similar to some of those outfits.
