League Cup Goal Summary: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Millwall
Wolverhampton played host to Millwall in the League cup and following a brilliant start to the game, Wolves went on to come out on top with the final score reading five goals to nil in favour of the Premier League outfit.
The first goal of the game came in just the 2nd minute of the game as Vokes was set free in front of the Millwall goal. The forward went on to smack a powerful effort, which sailed into the back of the net under the keepers arms.
In the 6th minute of the game, Wolves went onto double their lead in the game. Adam Hammill went on to take a free kick from some twenty five yards out and bent in a brilliant effort to score his first goal for the club.
In the 38th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 went three up before the end of the first half. Guediora went on to produce a brilliant run from the half way line and then squared a delightful pass back into the patch of Elokobi. Elokobi then made no mistake as he
found the back of the net with his effort.
In the 78th minute Hammill combined with James Spray in the Wolves area. The two linked up with some fine passing and the move ultimately ended with Spray latching on a cross and scoring his debut goal for Wolves in emphatic fashion.
In the 90th minute, Wolves completed a five star performance, as they put in a fifth and final goal into the Millwall net. Guedioura made another fine run from the halfway line, but this time around the player decided to shoot the ball from distance
instead of passing it to a team mate. This decision by the player proved to be a wise one, as his shot sailed into the back of the net.
The match ended with Wolves heading into the next round of the tournament with ease and looking like they might even go all the way this time around.
