League defend their drug program – MLB News
For many baseball experts, it is a usual reaction from general public who do not actually know what are the right parameters of judging any kind of confused situation.
Here too, the situation is almost same when Milwaukee Brewers’ left-fielder Ryan Braun came out successful for his late appeal against 50-game suspension on Performance Enhance Drugs (PED) charges.
Though his loyal fans are happy, but some more passionate baseball fans argue that why the League’s drug programme is vague to testify any player on banned drugs and if it is perfect then why the National League Most Valuable Player (MVP) Braun took them to the court in order to claim his innocence.
The local print and electronic media is flooded with all these questions now as why the Major League Baseball authorities has not initially taken care of this very serious matter instead of bringing shame to their own reliability.
For all these questions and to show the rest of the world regarding the very credibility of the League and union, executive director Michael Weiner said issuing a statement lately in the media, "The breach of confidentiality associated with this matter is unfortunate but, after investigation, we are confident that it was not caused by the Commissioner's Office, the MLBPA or anyone associated in any way with the Program."
Later, the MLB executive vice president for labour relations Rob Manfred also said with arguing the issue of Ryan Braun and the contribution of Major League, "With regards to the breach of confidentiality regarding this case, both the Commissioner's Office and the MLBPA have investigated the original leak of Ryan Braun's test, and we are convinced that the leak did not come from the Commissioner's Office."
The controversy of the Brewers’ left-fielder Braun’s testing positive for PED is almost over now which started in December after the League inspectors caught his samples having banned substance in it. Later a 50-game suspension punishment was imposed on Braun, but he not only took this matter into the court filing an appeal against this verdict, but he also officially denied in the media of having any connection using this banned drugs.
