Leaking fork on Suzuki Savage 95'?

I recently noticed my right fork had an unusual amount of wet residue and ignored it, it got to the point where after a ride i could see a brown/yellowish liquid oozing down which is obvioiusly my fork fluid. Theres a gap between the seal and the fork. (see picture)

Is this possible to fix myself?

If not how much would this cost to repair?

  1. The leak has probably ruined your brake pads, so you will have to replace those as well.

  2. You're the guy selling the red one for $1250 in Burbank, right?  You should just add "AS IS" to your "FOR SALE" sign.  The leak is pretty obvious;  I noticed it right away when I stopped to look at your bike last weekend.  Do you really really get 60 mpg?

But yeah, I betcha that the North Hollywood place would charge about $120 to replace your fork seals, change fork oil.

  3. go here & have a look how to do it...Item 98
