Our summers constantly have bad weather. Do you ever think that with the extra day added on every four years , could all add up to extra months. So over the past 120 years , we have been moved forward a month because of the extra days . So when it is actually july , we receive the weather for august . But the leap year has been active for a good while now. So we could actually be getting februarys weather because of all the added days. Its hard to understand lol. But if you do understand , please leave an answer. I thought of this when most of the good weather came in May/June and the bad weather was in July/August , apparently our summer

  1. No.

The leap day was put in to prevent the calendar from going BACK one day every 4 years.

  2. The whole point of leap years is to keep the calendar in line with the seasons. The summer solstice (for example) may occur a day or so either side of June 21st, but in the long term, the leap years keep it at around that date for centuries in the past and future.
