which in general is a cheaper way to learn to drive...via a ewll know driving school ie. BSM or an independent driving school?

Independent, they also charge around £5 less for each lesson compared to BSM/AA which is around £28 a lesson.

Most independent instructors are cheaper.  Best thing to do is go to a local driving school recommended by your friends.  Then if you don't like the instructor don't be afraid to change until you find one that you really feel comfortable with

No matter who you sign on with, check out what they have to offer...Will they accommodate your schedule?..Do they guarantee that you will pass?..Does the school have a good reputation?

I found out if you go to a big driving school your just a number to them and they take their time learning you.

Independent concentrate more on you, help you more and know you better.
