  1. It is awesome because it does voice recognition. It corrects you when you are wrong. I know its illegal but my friend downloaded it on lime wire.

  2. level 1 $219

    level 2 $239

    level 3 $259

    levels 1 & 2 $359

    levels 1, 2 & 3 $499

I haven't tried it, but I will, not Spanish though

    I hope that helped

  3. i am good in spainish but go with online translator for now

  4. I was learning Portuguese with it, and I liked it. The price is high, almost $400 for both levels 1 and 2.

It is very repetitive, which is good, but it is not fast; you won't learn your language on the airplane on the way (yet they sell it at airports, go figure).  It won't give you common travel phrases ("Where is the bathroom, please?") and is more aimed at people who want to learn the language at a conversational level.

Short answer: get it if you can afford it and have the time to use it properly.

  5. You can probably buy it cheaper on ebay.

  6. You're right it is expensive. I've tried it with several languages and I should have learned the first time. I wouldn't recommend it if your goal is fluency. It's good for the few phrases that it does teach but they certainly aren't enough to become fluent.

Here is a website at http://www.learn-podcast-spanish.com/spa... that will show you all the phrases that natives are most likely to use in conversation. That way you'll know how to respond.

Check it out. It's pretty good.

  7. I have it and love it, it has really helped and the direct immersion technique makes sense. When you're a baby, you don't base your words that you're learning by comparing them to other language words, you compare them to pictures, objects, actions. This is what Rosetta Stone does... It gives you pictures and a sentance and you basically just form the connections in your mind. You have to stick with it but it is definitely effective. I've learned a lot more from the program than I did from books.

  8. I personally love it!

    I'm learning Italian!

It's expensive, but definitely worth it! =)
