  1. The strongest hitter on my team is 5'2". She went all division as OH.

She gets all her power because of her vertical jump. If you can work on your jump enough, it doesn't matter how tall you are. It's all technique. Though it definately comes easier for those who were blessed with height, it's very possible to learn to spike well at any size. Work on your swing and your footwork, and keep at it. Practice makes perfect.

  2. yea anything in possible! try to jump as high as possible! and point ur palm to the ceiling and then snap ur wrist! hope i helped brittni

  3. hey all i can say is I feel ya!! I was on my 12's team at 4'8! I am now a setter (at 5'3) but i was a hitter last year and all i can say is, learn to jump and get a fast and sturdy approach. work on your contact by hitting the ball on the ground against a wall all the time. hope i helped!!

  4. There is a girl on the berkley team that is really not that tall but she  is a senior. She played as an outside hitter this year and she is a really good outside hitter but if you want to play at a higher level you are probably not going to play in the front row unless you can really get up.

The libero on our team was the shortest one on our team and she was 5'9" she is a senior too. But nothing is impossible you could do anything you put you heart to

  5. work on your vertical! we play this team and their outside hiiter  is 5'5" ish she has about a 25" vertical and she hits amazing! so just work your legs and increase that vert!

  6. You could be the setter--the person who sets up the hitter for the spike.  They're usually shorter than the other teammates so it could be perfect for you.  Good luck!

(I played volleyball for 4 years in high school and loved it!)
