I'm really interested in learning French in Paris, i've been before on a family holiday, but would like to go on my own, for about 3 weeks, and learn the language - has anyone done any programs like this? Any advice / experience / suggestions you could give me would be greatly appreciated thanks :)

If it helps, i'm thinking about doing this program

  1. Cool you are going to France to learn the language. It is great.

Chack http://www.cia-france.com/ it is Centre International d'Antibes. Pretty nice. They have 2-7 weeks progrmas: the intensive course is 30 lessons a week - that might work for you.

Good luck and bien sur! Apprecier! =(enjoy!)

  2. I actully just got back from Paris, Let me just tell you. If you dont know any french IT IS HARD!. I took 2 years of french and i had not a clue what I was doing. I stayed with a host family, they were nice, but the rest of the counrty wasnt really. I actully got pushed down the steps of the subway/RER thing because I didnt know french very well, and the woman just pushed me right on down and i ended up in the hospital for a few days and I fractured my leg, one store I went it they  would not sell anything to me becuase I didnt know my french. SO honny. Good luck. and watch out for all the beggers, they realllyyy like to go after the ones that speak english. Have fun in Paris. =D
