  1. Go for it, and let me tell you, I learned English studying by myself so if you have opportunity to travel, go..........go! and have fun!

  2. 2 months every day for 3 hours a day is GOOD.  I took classes in front of Plaza Altamira and CAfe L'attico and the teacher was amazing in 1995.  $5 an hour individual. You will be close to fluent with her.  Look for language schoolads in the English language newspaper in Caracas, I cant remember the name.  My school was IIEE or something like that

  3. I don't agree with the previous comment... it just depends on how hard you work. If you really work on talking only spanish and not trying to find people that can talk English to you I think you would get a pretty good base... of course you wont speak it perfectly but hey! I think it's a pretty good start... of course it also depends on how good you are with languages...

  4. to answer the added information, it is not safe, even for a citizen of Venezuela, to live there at the moment...but I would recomend you to go to Margarita Island, there are more tourists there, therefore, you won't stand out as much. Good Luck!!!

  5. After a WHOLE 2 MONTHS of studying Spanish in Venezuela... you will barely be any better at it than a second grade student... 2 months isn't enough time to even learn present tense, let alone any advanced Spanish.
