Learner driver, who can i take?

Hi, I'm a learner driver who's just bought a new car, It will be my husband that takes me out in the car, but i just wondered if it would be ok to take the kids with me in the correct car seat also any other passengers?? i cant seem to find this answer anywhere... thanks

  1. Providing your husband has had his license for several years (I think in the UK it's 3 years but your driving instructor will be able to tell you) you can take anyone else out in the car with you.

    One thing you need to keep in mind is that with extra people in the car:-

    1) More danger of distractions.

    2) Extra weight means the car will handle differently.


  2. You can carry passengers so long as there is a qualified driver accompanying you

  3. You can take other passengers, but the person teaching you to drive (your husband) has to sit in the front passenger seat.

  4. its ok to take them as long as your husband is over 21 and has a full licence for the past 3 years good luck with the driving i passed my driving test on friday  

  5. You have to ride in the car with someone over the age of 21 that's had there license for 3 years


  6. You can taky anyone out as long as you have a qualified driver of 3 years with you, and you observe all other law regarding insurance, car seats etc.
