When you go to the DMV to take your driving test to get your learners permit, are you allowed to use the drivers handbook?

  1. well i live in Illinois and we were not allowed to use anything for it. Its pretty simple. The day i went to get my license a week ago about 10 kids got their permit, and i dont think anybody failed, so you should be fine


  2. I doubt that you're allowed to that in any state you live in. The DMV wants you to know all your laws while driving.
