Question:

Learners Permit: To Study or Not to Study?

My birthday was last fall and I was able to get a learner's permit. I tried once, but I missed 12. Yes! 12. I have a lot of friends who didn't study at all and only missed a few. I also have a friend who studied the first time, failed, then didn't study the next time and passed. I really want to go take it again, but I don't know if I should study or not!

I was thinking maybe when you study, it puts more stress on you or something. Perhaps it's just a weird coincidence.

  1. I agree. There are questions they ask that seem totally out-there... and only buy doing those practice tests and looking over the book will really help. You'll be amazed how some answers really stick.

Oh, and be sure you really study the traffic signs. Many friends of mine have really goofed up on that section of the test....

  2. I would study just to be safe. In case there was a question you didn't know the answer to.If you study you'll always be on the safe side.

  3. I would study. There will be some nit-picky things on the test that you might've never known unless you read the driving manual (You are talking about driving right?)

Anyway, if you aren't big on studying, go to your state DMV website. They usually have a couple of practice tests there and a lot of times questions are repeated. Yes it is sort of studying but it is less time consuming.
