I'm just starting out learning Japanese. I know I have to start with hiragana, then katakana, and finally kanji. But if anyone could give me advice, that would be great!

  1. you should begin with hiragana then katana and finally kanji.

kanji is hard and it takes a lot of studying and practice.

  2. I found it easier when I had a sentence or picture to think of while memorizing. For example, KO looks like a KO-rral with no horses in it and NI looks like the above view of a man on his knees.

  3. start with hiragana, then katakana and then move onto kanji..

its nice and all to learn them from their little stories like Ko is a coin but ultimately i found the fastest way to learn them all off by heart is look say cover right check. I know... sounds boring. but it works.
