  1. Studies have shown that children who learn a musical instrument usually do better in subjects like math and science in school. I started taking piano lessons when I was in 4th grade and This was true for me. The short term benefits include a new hobby, watching your child learn something new, and depending on the child they can gain a great sense of accomplishment. The long term benefits include a wonderful stress relief tool, the ability to entertain guests and family, and meet a lot of great people with the same interests. I would highly recommend giving your kids the option of learning a musical instrument! Piano is also a great first instrument to learn since its principles are a great foundation for almost all other instruments. Don't force your children to play though. That will only produce a negative outcome.

  2. Well learning any musical instrument at a young age is easier than learning later when it may be more useful, because their brains are still making myelin connections. The benefits can include their thinking, they will pay more attention in school, learn more stuff, because i think the way they think will be altered because of learning piano.
