  1. I don't know of any vids, but it isn't that hard.

if you have an owners manual, read through that first.  check youtube for vids, if one exists, it will be there.

  2. I promise you that it really isn't hard and you will be able to figure it out on your own. Just be sure you let off the gas then pull in the clutch and then shift. Just work on that over and over to get it as smooth and quick as possible. What you should do is take off and shift through 2nd and 3rd gear, then slow down and downshift into second (if the bikes revs kind of high or feels like you are hitting the breaks then you didn't slow down enough before down shifting). After downshifting to 2nd come to a complete stop, shift down to first (while stopped) and then do the same thing over. The reason I say to stop before shifting to first is that first gear is so low on those bikes that down shifting to first even at a very low speed can feel kind of weird and give you a lot of engine breaking (slowing down really fast without hitting the breaks). Also when you shift up if the bike kind of "bogs" down and feels like it doesn't have much power you just shifted a little to soon, but 4 strokes are very forgiving where that is concerned. I guarantee you will have it down in no time if you just keep practicing that over and over. Good luck and just have fun!!
