Learning in school with a cold or hot temperature?

Is there any scientific proof proving (or disproving) learning in a colder atmosphere is more beneficial than a warmer one in having your brain remember more things?

I do know that having a colder temperature keeps you more alert, increasing the chances of you paying attention and learning.
