Learning medical terminology?

Is there an easy way to study medical terminology? I am just starting the course and was wondering if anyone had any pointers?

there is a picture word game program i learned in medical assisting school for example if we needed to remember the word "gastro" we think of pink gas truck that transformed into a stomach. gastro = stomach. its been so long ago but it helped me remember over 350 medical terms in a 3 week period and it still sticks with me till this day. look into amazon.com i'm pretty sure they'll have something like that.

Learn all the words combining forms.  Don't worry about the longer complex words in your book, as they are just comprised of word roots.  If you know those, you should be able to make just about any word.  Also, study your book, and make sure you know exactly what body parts the word is referring to.
